Will Poole is CEO and co-founder of Strand Intelligence. Strand automatically investigates security incidents across cloud and endpoint environments, producing defensible, evidence-led findings that investigators and security teams can act on.

Will has spent a decade in cyber security investigation roles. Over that time, proactive security tooling multiplied, but responding to a live incident still depended on one scarce resource: experienced human investigators. He co-founded Strand in 2025 with Oli Fletcher to change that. Strand automates the forensic investigation process so specialists can spend their time on judgement, remediation and hardening rather than manual evidence work.

Strand is headquartered in Manchester, is ISO 27001 certified and is backed by Osney Capital and Innovate UK.
