Dr Dhanda Budgie MBE has over 25 years of experience in senior consulting and management with a particular emphasis on cyber security and the defence and security sectors. Budgie has a particular interest in skills and professionalisation. He has supported the development of national cyber security skills standards as well as leading the UK Government’s project to establish the UK Cyber Security Council, the body that will oversee the professionalisation of cyber security. Budgie is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information Security and was an awarded a MBE for services to Cyber Security in the 2022 New Year’s Honours List.
