Andrea Pezzotti

Andrea Pezzotti is Deputy Global CISO at ING, where he leads the bank’s global Security Operations organization and supports the delivery of its cyber-resilience agenda. His responsibilities encompass intelligence-driven cyber threat management, attack-surface management, security detection and response, and identity and access management, with a strong focus on automation, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and operational resilience.

With a technology and cybersecurity career spanning more than two decades, Andrea has held leadership roles across telecommunications, banking, and pharmaceuticals. His experience includes building and modernizing cybersecurity capabilities across IT and operational-technology environments, with depth in cyber defence, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, penetration testing and adversary simulation, data loss prevention, security engineering, and security automation.

At ING, Andrea is also a senior leader within the Cyber Resilience pillar, helping connect security transformation and capability development with service continuity, business risk, regulatory expectations, and long-term organizational resilience. An experienced conference speaker, he participated in the 2025 ECSO CISO Meetup panel, “The CISO’s Guide to AI in Cybersecurity: Opportunities and Risks,” and has previously spoken publicly on vulnerability management and threat-based cyber defence.
