Conceived from a hacker strategy approach, Kartos is the Cyber-Intelligence and Surveillance platform developed by Enthec Solutions to extend the security perimeter controlled by organizations and institutions.
Kartos is an XTI (Extended Threat Intelligence) Cyber-Intelligence and Surveillance platform formed by an army of XTI Watchbots that continuously monitors and tracks the external perimeter of organizations, the Web, Deep Web, and Dark Web in search of leaked corporate information and security breaches that are available to anyone who knows how to find them.
Kartos proposes an outside-in protection approach, which extends the corporate cyber surveillance perimeter and protects the organization from the outside, detecting sensitive information exposed on the outside that criminals may use to materialize a cyberattack and external security breaches.
Kartos provides EASM, DRPS, SRS, and Third Party Risk Assessment services on a single platform:
- External Attack Surface Management (EASM): Detection of corporate assets and information about systems, cloud services, and applications that are available and visible in the public domain to any cybercriminal.
- Digital Risks Protection Services (DRPS): Detection of contextual information about potential attack agents, their tactics, and processes for carrying out malicious activities. Removal of malicious activities on behalf of the Company, Organization, or Administration.
- Security Rating Services (SRS): Independent assessment of own and third-party risks for a broad visualization of the cybersecurity maturity of any organization using an external approach. Expansion and weighting of the information provided by traditional methods of assessing own and third-party risks.
- Third-Party Risk Assessment: Continuous and real-time monitoring of third-party risks using an external and non-intrusive approach. Expansion and weighting of the information provided by traditional third-party risk assessment methods.
Kartos XTI Watchbots analyzes 9 threat categories:
- Net
- DNS Health/Phishing
- Patch Management
- IP Reputation
- Web Security
- E-mail security
- Document Filtering
- Credential Filtering
- Social Media
What makes Kartos different?
-
100% Automated: no human intervention needed.
-
100% non-intrusive. It does not need to be implemented within the organization's or partner's IT system.
-
Real-time information.
-
Flexible licensing model.
-
Simplicity in interpretation and use.
-
Categorization of users by area.
-
Categorization of alarms by vulnerabilities.
-
Outside-in vision: Defense systems in depth do not know what happens outside the perimeter or the resources that a cybercriminal has to build an attack. Kartos provides the exact information that a 360º protection system allows.
-
100% Non-intrusive: Kartos searches the same repositories as cybercriminals without accessing the perimeter of organizations, which would require authorization for legal reasons. This is why it is ideal for third-party risk monitoring.
-
100% Automated: In the operation of Kartos, no people intervene in any part of the process, which means that alerts are generated practically in real time, that it works continuously, and that the confidentiality of the information is preserved.
-
External Attack Surface Management, Digital Risk Protection Services, Security Rating Services, and Third-Party Risk Assessment. Unlike other tools, Kartos searches Clear, Deep, and Dark Web and thousands of public sources that are updated daily. Our tool is dedicated to detecting specific threats of client companies, and we do not work with global threat intelligence.
-
Unlimited users: Enthec understands that within an organization, there are different departments and that all of them must be involved at their level in protecting the company. Especially its managers. That's why the tool allows unlimited users with very diverse profiles.
-
Total flexibility: Kartos is designed so that the customer can practically configure a tailor-made tool to detect threats from outside their perimeter. It allows the management of users, licenses, and permissions from a centralized console.
Kartos is in an ongoing R&D process to incorporate categories and capabilities ahead of the evolution of cyberattacks.
