John Davies is Managing Director of Pervade Software Ltd, an independent software vendor based in Wales who’s award-winning cyber security products are used by a wide range of private and public sector clients in over 80 countries.

John is also Co-founder and Chair of Cyber Wales, the largest cyber security ecosystem of its kind in the UK which has collaborative agreements with more than 40 international cyber ecosystems around the world.  He is a Board member of UKC3 (the UK Cyber Cluster Collaboration group and is their national lead for Cyber Skills Growth.

As an NCSC i100 Secondee, John commits time to work with NCSC to bring together public and private sector expertise.  He is also an NCSC CyberFirst Ambassador helping to introduce young people aged 11-17 to the fast-paced world of cyber security.  John is also a sessional lecturer at the University of South Wales, Cardiff Metropolitan University and runs cyber sessions for colleges, schools and the National Cyber Security Academy.

John is an Army veteran and he is able to bring the cyber ecosystem and the military family closer together in his role as Honorary Colonel of 53 Signal Squadron of the Royal Corps of Signals, helping to develop the concept of cyber protection troops in the Reserve Forces.
