TechVets is a non-profit launched in 2018, to provide a bridge for the British Forces community into information technology careers. 
 
With more than 1,000 new members in the first 6 months of 2022, these individuals can access an online community of more than 3,350 members including hundreds of veterans who are experienced in the cyber security. This enables our members direct engagement with industry professionals who can provide accurate trustworthy advice and guidance as they embark on a challenging career change. 
 
Our members have access to more than £27,000 of leading training all free. This training helps them upskill in IT Support, Project Management, Digital Marketing & eCommerce, Data, Networking, Low-Code Automation, and Programming. Our main specialism is cyber security where we offer upskilling through our Veterans' Digital Cyber Academy - powered by Immersive Labs; Workstudy Programme places provided by SANS; access to premium TryHackMe learning pathways; the Fortinet Network Securty Expert Program; Digital Forensics training through Project Ares; and places on premium CREST training courses provided by North Green Security, Siker Cyber, Samurai Security, and arcX.
 
Finally, our members receive employment support that includes a CV Review Service from veterans experienced in hiring tech candidates; a CV Distribution Service that ensures their CV is sent out to more than 190 companies across the UK, and direct access to employers to provide great career opportunities resulting in more than 17 members a month gaining IT roles during 2022, with an average salary of over £52k.
