Greater Manchester Cyber Advisory Group

Stand: D10

Greater Manchester presents a unique opportunity for cyber - a place with the ambition and strong civic mandate to ensure our world-class digital ambitions are leaving no-one behind.

A region with a £5 billion digital economy and a strong cyber ecosystem at its heart, with connected component parts – a testbed for cross-sector collaboration, innovation, specialist talent and with a clear vision for the future. A city-region rapidly becoming UK and European centre for cyber and digital ethics, trust and security.

Greater Manchester has nurtured homegrown digital security companies including Avecto, Hedgehog, NCC Group and Secarma, and has attracted established cyber divisions of global defence companies such as Raytheon, BAE Systems AI and Northrop Grumman as well as consulting firms including KPMG to establish itself as a city committed to cyber security innovation and collaboration. The city centre is also home to the UK’s government security agency GCHQ – placing Greater Manchester at the heart of the nation’s IT security effort

Four members of Greater Manchester’s Cyber Security Advisory Group will exhibit, highlighting how Greater Manchester is doing digital differently and leveraging our expertise in areas like cyber security.
