Working together to protect us all

We cannot wait to welcome you to International Security Expo & International Cyber Expo 2021.

Your safety and that of all our exhibitors, partners, visitors, contractors and staff is our highest priority.

We are working closely with Olympia, London to create a controlled, safe and clean environment to do business and ensure we fully comply with government guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19.

In line with the latest guidance from government and the Association of Event Organisers, we have taken the decision to verify attendee COVID-19 status on arrival at the event (to include visitors, exhibitors, contractors, venue and organiser staff).

*** All attendees must be prepared to show proof of either ***

a) Proof of completion of a full course of vaccination two weeks prior to arrival via the NHS COVID Pass (NB This is different from the NHS COVID-19 Test and Trace app), EU Digital Pass, or equivalent for internationals. It is advised individuals apply no later than 48 hours before attending their event to allow for the application to be processed in time.

OR

b) Lateral flow or PCR negative test results text or e-mail, received within 72 hours prior to attending the event. We will ask to see the NHS email or text message you received once you reported your result to the NHS. The fastest way to report your Lateral Flow Test result is online. We will not accept the physical test or a photo of the test.

If visitors would prefer not to use the app or do not have a smartphone they can obtain a NHS COVID Pass letter (proving vaccination status only) by calling 119 or visiting the NHS website. Visitors with a medical exemption should advise a member of staff during the checking process.

OR

C) Proof of immunity shown by a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, lasting for 180 days from the date of the positive test and following completion of the self-isolation period.

If visitors would prefer not to use the app or do not have a smartphone they can obtain a NHS COVID Pass letter (proving vaccination status only) by calling 119 or visiting the NHS website. Visitors with a medical exemption should advise a member of staff during the checking process.

  • Have you been told to self-isolate by a government test and trace service?

Safety Measures within the Show

Facemask While face masks will no longer be mandatory, we encourage visitors, exhibitors and staff to take personal responsibility and to wear a face-covering in any situation which is crowded or while in close proximity to other people, including in workshops or seminar theatres. We do however recognise that there are circumstances preventing people from wearing a face covering and, being mindful and respectful of this, staff will not challenge or ask for evidence from visitors who advise that they cannot wear a face covering or who make the personal choice not to. We hope that all will be equally respectful.

Print at home

All attendees will be asked to print their badges at home in order to minimise queues and contact, in the registration areas.
Ventilation The collection of halls at Olympia provide open, airy spaces with lots of ventilation. The Grand Hall alone has over a quarter of a million cubic metres of air. As part of their £1bn redevelopment, Olympia have been updating their event spaces and this includes the installation of a new ventilation system that draws in even more fresh air than before, and is significantly more efficient with state of the art system controls. They’re maximising the fresh air supplied and extracted to ensure improved air change rate bringing the outdoors indoors. This is just one of the measures put in place to keep visitors safe and comfortable so they can truly enjoy the event.
Restaurant All restaurants and cafes are set up to minimise contact points, this includes accepting only contactless payments for a safer and speedier service. The venue has installed protective screens across all outlets and staff will continue to wear face coverings.
Cleaning Frequent and thorough cleaning of public areas, toilets and touchpoints around the venue
handwash Hand sanitiser and/or handwashing facilities will be provided throughout the venue. We recommend you bring your own supply as well.
